White Oak Vineyard

Fruit from this tiny vineyard (less than 2 acres) in the Ribbon Ridge AVA  is lovingly farmed by famed cider apple grower Alan Foster.  Because the soil at his property is so reminiscent of Montforte in the Barolo area of Piedmont, Italy, Alan planted Nebbiolo here in 2006.  He also planted about an acre of Pinot noir in the same year and recently added several rows of Martin Ray clone.

Fruit from Ribbon Ridge is always intense with loads of structure in the wine.  His fruit is incorporated into our Ribbon Ridge Pinot noir, and Willamette Valley Nebbiolo.
