Cameron Ramato takes its name from the Italian word Rame, which means copper.  Our beautiful copper-hued wine is made in the tradition of north-eastern Italy, where Pinot grigio is macerated on the skins for 4-5 hours before pressing. This lovely libation is a blend of complex aromas of dried apricot, honeycomb, fresh dill and wild fennel.  It has a stunning mouth feel and lingering finish due to the soft ripe tannins extracted from the skins.
