Cameron Winery -- sustainably farmed, non-irrigated, Oregon pinot noir and chardonnay

That’s correct, 2020 Pinot noir and it’s fabulous!

We waited through 3 rainstorms after the fires to pick the fruit, treated the grapes very gently, aged the wine 2 years in barrel and the result is stunning.  The 2020 vintage produced wines of very local alcohol (12.6% in this case) so that the notes of black cherry, lavender and rose petal scream out of the glass.  The wine is dark, unctuous and vibrant.

As with everything from 2020, this wine is extremely limited, only 250 cases were produced.
