Cameron Winery -- sustainably farmed, non-irrigated, Oregon pinot noir and chardonnay

This vineyard has always been an homage to the great wines of Burgundy.   It is comprised of very old Burgundy clones mostly collected around California in the early 1980’s.  In the cellar, similarly, reverence is paid to traditional techniques.  As a result, when a great vintage comes along, this combination of vineyard/cellar yields extraordinary wines.  The 2018 Clos Electrique is the deepest, darkest, purplest Pinot ever from Cameron. Aromatically, this is classic Clos Electrique. The palate is full-bodied with intense dark fruit with notes of earth and game.  It is very, very limited..here today, gone tomorrow.
