Cameron Winery -- sustainably farmed, non-irrigated, Oregon pinot noir and chardonnay

This is the first of what will become a wine we produce only during the best years for Nebbiolo.  2015 Riserva Nebbiolo emanates from the perfect site for growing Nebbiolo in Oregon, the marine sedimentary soil of  White Oak Vineyard.  The nose is a classic rendition of a great Ghemme or Gattinara from the Alto Piemonte.  Like the real deal, this wine receives a minimum of four years total aging.  Its nose is characterized by dried cherries, dried currants, leather and rose petals.  Its focused palate delivers a vibrant acidity typical of this varietal.  The label represent the leaves of an Oregon White Oak.
