2014 Clos Electrique Rouge

The complexity of Clos Electrique terroir and its multiple old red Burgundy clones is expressed in scents of forest floor, leather, rare steak, matsutaki mushrooms, black raspberris and pie cherries interwoven with cool, cellar-floor earth, and a saline/mineral note of crushed oyster shells.   The mouth has a rich, creamy texture accompanied by ripe juiciness and silky tannins . The firm structure and vibrant acidity assure its long cellar-worthiness.
