2011 Willamette Valley Pinot noir

This is Cameron’s “wine for the people”.  Even though this wine could successfully compete with many of the $30 bottles of Pinot noir in the marketplace, we are adamant about providing a first class wine that most people can afford.  Emanating mostly from Lemmelson Vineyard near Carlton, we added a few select barrels from Abbey Ridge and Clos Electrique.  Aged for 18 months in barrique (50% new barrels) and  fined with 2 egg whites per barrel from our Clos Electrique hens, the 2011 Willamette Valley Pinot  illustrates what all the hoopla about Oregon is about.  Not suitable for strict vegans,  for everyone else, run, don’t walk to your nearest retail outlet.
