This year’s Clos Electrique rouge is resplendent with stone fruit aromatics: black cherries, plums, and drupelets. You are going to have to look that last one up yourself.  It also emits the ubiquitous Clos Electrique aromas of leather and mushroom, a hint of white pepper and a bit of French funk. On the palate is the typical earthiness that one expects from this vineyard along with bright acidity, a touch of cinnamon, a slight bit of grip on the palate and a lingering finish.  This will be a wine to keep!
