Cameron Winery -- sustainably farmed, non-irrigated, Oregon pinot noir and chardonnay

While most vines at Abbey Ridge were spared from 2022 frost damage, the vineyard’s Chardonnay — which breaks bud early — were nearly decimated. After crush and fermentation, just one barrel comprised the vintage of Abbey Ridge Chardonnay.

Its Chablis-like character, austere minerality, aromatic notes of lime zest and marzipan and a racing acidity in the mouth make this wine a rewarding reminder of a tough growing season. Take a sip and remember… That’s farming!
