The 2019 Clos Electrique Rougue is especially pretty this year, with levity in the palate and purity in its expression of dark red fruits.  It has striking acidity in comparison to the earthiness and funk that usually typifies this wine.  The texture is amazing, like a piece of silk laid across your palate.

We attribute the complexity of this wine to the very old red Burgundy clones we planted here nearly 40 years ago, Clos Electrique terroir and the reverence we pay to traditional Burgundian cellar technques.
