The complexity of Clos Electrique terroir is expressed in scents of forest floor, leather, thyme, lavender, and dried cherries interwoven with cool, cellar-floor earth, and a saline/mineral note of crushed oyster shells from Netarts bay. In the mouth, the silky tannins are as if spiders made webs with cherry juice. The firm structure and vibrant acidity assure its long cellar-worthiness.
